Smiles

This series of images, shot around the country is entitled 'A Day in the Life of India'. I chose themes that I felt represented India's qualities and shot a picture to represent them. Here two girls sit next to a water pump in Tamil Nadu. This image was displayed at the 2006 Pingyao International Photography Festival, China.
